How Applied Kinesiology Works<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Applied kinesiology is a science that, through the application of muscle tests<\/strong> and the contribution of all other medical knowledge, allows the physician to better interrogate the human body, to receive adequate answers and to provide the right means for the treatment of any diseases.\n<\/span><\/p>\n

In applied kinesiology, a muscle, in order to be tested, must be validated as normotonic muscle<\/a><\/span>therefore with normal resistance to a force against its action. It must not be neither hypotonic, i.e. weak, nor hypertonic, i.e. too strong<\/strong>because both of these conditions already indicate a pathological state in themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

How to assess whether a muscle is normotonic?<\/span><\/h3>\n

To find out if a muscle is normotonic, a magnet is applied to its belly<\/strong>. If the tested muscle yields, it means it is normal, otherwise it is hypertonic. What is the action of the magnet on the muscle?<\/span> In this case, electromagnetic energy causes an alteration in the conduction of the impulses in the neuromuscular complex<\/strong>thus the loss of strength of the muscle itself. <\/span><\/p>\n

Any stimulus to which the organism is subjected reaches the brain through the nerve structures and causes changes in the pre-existing state; the stimulus must be recognised, evaluated and an appropriate response must then be devised. Performing a muscle test means evaluating how the body is affected by the stimulus itself. <\/strong><\/span>The contraction of skeletal muscles, when stressed, occurs gradually. The strength of a muscle at the moment of contraction is proportional to the number of activated fibro-cells<\/strong>.\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n
